RICHMOND, VA (12/19/2013) – K12 Enterprise, Microsoft’s leading enterprise-grade financial and human resource management software for K-12 school systems, has hired three employees:
Ben Rhodes is a Technology Manager. He specializes in troubleshooting network and database issues and focuses on the system-level aspects of the K12 software. Ben joined Sartox, LLC in 1996 as an entry-level developer and soon after took on the additional roles of SQL Server Database Administrator and Windows Network Administrator at Sartox. He left Sartox in 2009 for a senior database administrator position with Health Management Corporation, which was soon after acquired by the health insurance conglomerate, Wellpoint. Ben has a Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia Tech and a Master of Science degree from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Lisa Rabon is an Implementation and Support Analyst. Lisa worked with Brunswick County Schools for seven years as Payroll Supervisor and Purchasing Agent. She also served as Payroll Supervisor and Purchasing Agent with the system’s child nutrition program. She graduated from Brunswick Community College with an Associate Degree in Fine Arts and is completing her bachelor’s degree at Mount Olive College.
Dan Clower is an Implementation Consultant. He has more than 30 years of experience in accounting working in manufacturing, government, and nonprofit organizations. He spent 14 years with Walker County as the County Auditor and five years with the Harris County Department of Community Services. Immediately prior to joining K12 Enterprise, Dan worked for Responsive Education Solutions for six years where he was involved in the conversion of their software from Fundware to Serenic Navigator. In August of 2012, Responsive Ed upgraded to K12 Enterprise. He received his CPA certificate in 1986 and his Bachelor of Business Administration from West Texas State University, now West Texas A&M, with a major in Accounting and a minor in Computer Science.
