RICHMOND, VA (December 9, 2016) – K12 Enterprise employees donated a wide array of gifts to a local family as part of the Powhatan Christmas Mother program.

Gifts for the mother, father, and three children, one of whom has special needs, included clothes, toys, and gift cards to Walmart and a local pharmacy. The total value of donations exceeded $700.00.

The Powhatan Christmas Mother is a volunteer organization that provides gifts and food to families in need, especially children and the elderly. Businesses in the community are encouraged to “adopt” local families on an anonymous basis.

Jean Kingery, K12 Enterprise’s Office Manager, has coordinated the company-wide donation effort for the past four years. “The Powhatan Christmas Mother program is an awesome organization, and we’re happy to partner with them again to help a local family in need,” she said.
