RICHMOND, VA (7/1/2015) – K12 Enterprise, a Microsoft development and consulting services partner specializing in financial and human resource management solutions for K-12 school systems, announced that Hampton City Schools (HCS) has selected K12 Enterprise for its financial and human resource management software.
HCS is located in Hampton, Virginia, and has approximately 20,000 students and 3,200 employees. The district was motivated by two business drivers to acquire a new system: the cost of its former system’s licensing and upgrades was increasingly difficult to justify for a K12 organization of its size, and the software was difficult to administer.
K12 Enterprise was developed specifically for the needs of US public school districts and leverages Microsoft Dynamics NAV, one of the most widely used accounting and business management systems in the world. HCS’s leadership team will find it simple to extract and format essential information, and qualified staff will be able to maintain the system without programmer intervention. In addition, the software will help HCS meet all Virginia Department of Education and Federal reporting requirements and respond to corresponding changes in a timely, cost-effective manner.
“We look forward to strengthening HCS’ ability to meet its overall strategic goals in regards to attracting, developing, and retaining exceptional staff, and managing fiscal resources effectively and efficiently,” said K12 Enterprise CEO Jeremy Fass.
