RICHMOND, VA (June 7, 2016) – K12 Enterprise announced that Charlottesville City Schools in Charlottesville, Virginia, has selected K12 Enterprise for its financial and human resource management software.
Charlottesville City Schools has approximately 4,100 students and 800 employees. The district sought a solution to replace their proprietary AS/400 system, which had reached the end of its useful life. The district was looking for a modern, flexible solution that would meet their accounting, payroll, human resources, and reporting requirements. Additionally, Charlottesville City Schools sought a partner who could lead them through the implementation process and would ensure that the transition from their legacy system would be smooth and efficient.
K12 Enterprise was developed specifically for the needs of public school districts and leverages Microsoft Dynamics NAV, one of the most widely used accounting and business management systems in the world.
“We are excited to be working with the team at Charlottesville City Schools,” said Jeremy Fass, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing of K12 Enterprise. “Because they’re migrating from a system they developed internally, they have a clear vision for what they expect from a new system. This vision provides a clear path forward and will allow our implementation team to provide an optimal solution for their needs.”
